Inaugural WPG Dog Show - 4 August 2019

Our inaugural Dog Show and Fun Day was held on 4th August 2019 at Watton Youth Centre and was a great success with fun being had by all; even the good weather showed up!

The day was brilliantly attended by the public as well by local businesses and organisations with stalls ranging from dog portraits to soaps, books and crafts together with demonstrations from the local Taekwando group. Highlights of the day included children's races in our kids corner which had both adults and children laughing and enjoying the fun. We also had a tasty BBQ and homemade cakes to offer throughout the day, not to mention the ice cream van to cool everyone down on such a glorious, sunny day.

The Dog classes were all very well attended we had the chance to meet some lovely dogs of all ages, shapes and sizes; it's just a shame we could only pick a few winners in each category as they were all worthy contenders. Congratulations to our class winners and especially Bumble and owner Laurie, our winner of the Best in Show category.

We would like to take this opportunity once again to thank everyone who attended and supported us as without your help the day wouldn’t have been the success it was. We would also like to give a special mention to our main event sponsors:

Arden Grange

Buds and Bows Cakery

Knotts Yard Veterinary Practice

Natures Menu

Norfolk Pure Apple Juice

Tesco (Watton store)

We look forward to doing it all again in 2020!
